錄影機用慢速5400轉HDD 已夠，SSD 又唔會錄快咗

SSD became cheaper. About 1k for 256G. Therefore I intend to change the HDD to SSD. Any C hing had the same experience?

Heat will shorten the life of the machine. Therefore I want to get a small SSD (eg. 128G) to extend its life. And use an external and large volume HDD (eg. 3T or 4T) for recording.

notebook hardisk 係2.5"

I don't think SSD is a good option because you can't use "TRIM" to regularly optimise the performance of SSD which will eventually become very slow after a longer period of time

有某d controller 係內置TRIM ，但為左無咁熱要俾咁多錢，
咁不如外置左佢仲化算
