i got the rainbow eye effect... but i'm currently using HC3100 which is also 6 segment, 5 x speed, i like the color from Mitsubishi!

I am using HC3100 too. 5x speed no rainbow n 4x is definitely NO NO for me, which I guess is very common to a lot of DLP fans.

Hoping the HC3800 will come out with some new technology to improve RBE on a 4x speed colorwheel.

Yours Mit. color wheel is 5x. I heard the highest the speed of the color wheel, the less chance you will see rainbow effect. Isn't it?

I think 6x speed colorwheel only available on expensive models, like those from Marantz.

Are u saying your Mit. color wheel is 6x? If it is 6x, sure the chance of seeing rainbow is less.
