Comparing 甄妮奮鬥大碟 CD layer, I rip 3 CD layer to FLAC file to listen by SONY 64GB WALKMAN (+128GB SDXC card) & headphone:

(1) 2004 First pressed SACD: the bass is stronger than 2015

(2) 2015 Reissued SACD: a bit more clear, details, left and right channels of stereo sound is improved

(3) 1988 CD: overall okay still acceptable , but lack of high definition minor details

NO, among those WEA reissued, I just have interest on SANDY LAMB (but honestly I dislike her as a role of DJ / singer/ actor, just like her 1 covered Japanese song  [Original by 村下孝藏  / 林珊珊: 也許當年年紀小 (perhaps this song really has  a flashback sandy lamb teenage memory of pioneering single independent mother giving birth without marriage in USA]

Nowadays not so like SALLY YEH lu, perhaps already own her MASTERSONIC and compilation

Which FLAC version/format do you usually use or you recommend the best one regardless of file size? Presently, I employ AIFF from iTunes to rip CD but not sure if it is a good encoder. Thanks.

I just using the free software come with SONY WALKMAN (64GB basic + 128GB SDXC card = 192GB more than i-pod classic): MEDIA GO, which can rip to MP3 or FLAC

I no longer using iPod Classic 160GB, so heavy and fuxxing-annoying i-TUNE software to transfer file back and forth PC, I have not  using AIFF format before

FLAC file format sounds more clear, high definition details, and solid bass to me, while MP3 sounds okay but not details enough
