No... 2.0 is the device. For the host side support 3.0 only.

No.

個 HOST 要係 USB 3.0，張圖有寫的，佢地亦係 email 中 confirm 咗個 HOST 要係 3.0。 receiver 個邊就乜 USB 都得。

我地用 MPD 機仔的邊有 USB 3.0...... 我搵咗成朝 google 都搵唔到。

I suggest u try the LAN fiber translator solution first since u already have them... I'm now using a battery at the first translator (to avoid the interference go into the power bar at Hifi side) and just the original switching transformer at the second translator. The result is just similar to that I was using transport ->Coaxial->DAC.

P.S. My NAS is without LPS in my study room and my Hifi is in the dinning room using separate MCB/RCBO.

Thanks, C hing.  I'm using LAN <> Optical media converter (borrowed one and need to be returned soon, mine is gone at the first night) and the effect is really good.
So I really speculate the USB <> Optical will be even better.  Unluckily, there is no such suitable hand-on product in the market so far.

Ic... How's your PSU? Using LPS or orginal one and connect to which side?

I have no doubt of the benefit from the USB>Fiber conceptually. But one thing need to consider is that the UT1 (transaction translator) is not a very light power device and it's operating at high freq as well. So eventually may not make a big improvement if you have a good USB and grounding connection...

Same LPS for both, media converter, initially, I wanted to see the difference between powered with same LPS and different power supply, but no time to try yet.

Same LPS for both, media c ...

U must separate them for achieving the isolation purpose...
