Hehe, my CDs/boxsets/DVDs are like a mountain...surely have some "lemon" CDs, will go check check and post them here, a bit busy these few days.
2 years ago, it took 5-6 rounds to carry CDs/boxsets/DVDs in boxes in a car when I was moving. I then bought one big cabinet for storing them and I now realise that I need another cabinet

you may say so this kind of marketing trap any example? that extra 1 song really so important?



what I mean the more disappointing is the poor sound, poor package, poor disc, poor content (songs) or poor mixes especially the CD single case

hehe, keep watch watch watch and then buy buy buy, have you count how many CD , DVD, BLUE RAY and VINYL u have?

me too, I am facing shortage of space to keep so many CD, DVD, BLU RAY, and some vinyls too

okay, let me share one example:

British indie band SAINT ETIENNE: like a motorway CD single the mixes are bad,
the album version is the best mix, this kind of problem happens to M People cd single too, the album version sounds better than those remixes cd singles to me

I think this track can be found in the KEANU REEVES movie soundtrack SPEED 1994

OK, now I can think of two as in the photos below. The CD singles 1 and 2 of "Break 4 Love" by Peter Rouhofer and Pet Shop Boys. Both CDs have all the different remixes of the song but some are too repetitive and monotonous. On the whole, the remixes are just mediocre. I also discovered that it isn't a Pet Shop Boys song and does not sound like Pet Shop Boys either . The remixes are very much into "New York" dance music style (not for me).  I actually bought these 2 CD singles in anticipation of and before the release of Pet Shop Boys 'new album "Release" at that time.

The song "Break 4 Love" was later included on the Bonus CD of US limited 2CD edition of "Release" album as "radio edit" version and this version is much better than all the remixes on the two singles. I should not have bought the two CD singles but waited for the US limited 2CD edition of "Release" instead. I hardly listen to the two CD singles now.

I think remixes are usually 99.9& bad and album version is 99.9% better. there is only 1 % chance that any remixes can sound much better than the album track.

I think so, for quick example,
the remix of THE BEST THING IN LIFE ARE FREE by CJ is better than sound track version!

How about any good remix is better than original?
