Thanks for Anthony's time n effort in coming out to my place last night n did the picture calibration for me. Even though my old Mit. HC3100(1280x720) has 1000 hours on it n both the Tint n Color adjustment white out(cannot be selected when using HDMI), Anthony  still tried his best to calibrate the picture to 6.5K color temp..

After he left, I spent another 2 hours watching both movies n concerts from my Himedia HD100(which the calibration is based on), I just have to say WOW !!! The color is dead on for me n not yellow as Anthony once thought(maybe I used the wrong demo clip while he was here). Both the Contrast n Brightness is dead on too, as the image is more 3D. The best example is the opening sequence of the 'Batman' movie when the Joker is waiting at the street corner waiting for the car to pick him up. I notice a lot of depth between the Joker from the street adjacent to him.

However, the only part I have not get used to is the 'Sharpness' that Anthony recommended me to increase from 0 to 5. For all these years reading into AV magazines n discussing in AVSforum(U.S.), most of the videophile stay away from the Sharpness control n leave it at 0. Because on some display , the 'Ringing effect'(overlap edges on an object) will stay on no matter you increase or decrease the Sharpness control, but this adjustment will make a huge difference once you switch off the test pattern n go back to real movies. Probably, I will play around the control from 0 to 5 for a few days to see which one fits my eyes more.

Thanks again to Anthony's generous offer n I sincerely hope there is more classy people like him in this forum, n make the AV World a better place.

P.S. I tried very hard to invite him to dinner but did not succeed. If anybody do, then Anthony owe me one.

Anthony did it again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He just spent another 3.5 hours to calibrate my new Sony HW15 projector. While I spent another 1.5 hour watching it after he left, n I have to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The picture is near perfect(best ever in my house), very 3-D like, but a bit dark n maybe my previous setting is just too bright.

I have to tip my hat to Anthony for taking his valuable time n help me with this calibration, n hope more generous people like him will be around us.
