美國購物網站 Meijer 以父親節特惠作宣傳，推出原價 159.99 美元減至 99 美元便可擁有 Curtis Mathe CMMBX130 藍光播放器。在 LG 和 Samsung 都還把藍光播放器定為成高貴的家庭娛樂播放器，其實低價藍光機的時代已經悄悄來臨了！
當然這台低價的藍光機因為撘載了最便宜的藍光晶片，缺少類比環繞音效輸出以及支援 Profile 2.0。不過一點都沒關係，因為能普及到尋常百家姓，需求量大了，1080p 級的影片才能真正取代一般的 DVD。
