Indeed I love the detail, clarity and sonic signature from upper range to bass of Young.
Yet the soundstage size seems crucial to me because small soundstage will affect prolong listening experience. (Maybe you will find it tired to listen for long time).

I know where I could try the combination and I will seriously try Young with the palmer ....

Glad to have your another great alternative from TeddyPardo.


As the price difference is quite large between the Palmer (~HKD$6k) and TeddyPardo (~HKD$3k),
I wonder if the improvement given by the two different PSUs will be similar.

Have you tried both and can give some more comments on it ?

P.S. The MOST aspect that I concern is the soundstage size, if you're to rate, how many percentage of improvement can the TeddyPardo / Palmer can bring about ?

I have not tried Palmer but given its pure DC output, performance should be the best. For Teddy, I opine that improvement in imaging and soundstage separation is 30%.

But i'm still a bit confused on the point that:  is  your meaning of "separation" of instruments equal to  "depth / width" of the stage  ?

Sorry coz i'm a newbie in audio world and CAS, i don't know the exact wording to describe the "soundstage" that I'm really referring to ... hope you won't mind answering my stupid question


On the other hand, I believe that using appropriate signal input and RCA output (e.g. silver cable) would also useful in improving sound stage. Am I right on this regard ?

I've already read through this review:

This does reply my question.


And your previous reply already told me the degree of improvement, TeddyPardo = 30%;   Palmer >30%

Now its easier for me to consider which to upgrade :)  Thanks!
