If not play DSD, No2 and 3 is good choice!
Because Cambridge have own IPad apps to remote their magic 6!
Plug and play easily   
For example:
7K for magic
1.5k for 2 bays Nas
0.7k for HDD
2K for liner power supply
XXK for good CAT7
YYK for toslink or Coaxial cable
So the total coat is XX+YY+11.2K la! {:9_432:}

LAN線比WiFi好。

最好避免光纖。同軸線好啲。

如果係玩SBT就唔好晒咗佢個usb async功能，將啲source放喺NAS，
但usb留返做data output，直接買隻行XMOS ...

if use nas, can i use the lan wire to connect the nas and sbt?

maybe  asked and answered before:- installing the edo in sbt still have the option to choose between digital (usb port of sbt used as output to dac for higher bitrate files) and analogue out(to use headphone out port of sbt to drive headphones(aimed at the tdk wireless) for easy and convenient causal listening?

>>If you use SBT as the player mainly, I would suggest you to choose another DAC with XMOS chip (ie DacMagic Plus), as asus essence one doesn't support the usb input from SBT directly, you have to add a ddc between SBT and DAC.

  因為感覺光纖會比較"干淨", 雖然好多人都覺得同軸比較好

現階段打算:

    NAS-(LAN)->NETWORKPLAYER-(SPDIF)->Benchmark DAC2 HGC(暫定)->AMP


用NETWORKPLAYER-平板黎操作播NAS裏的歌

或者

  NAS-(USB)-> Benchmark DAC2 HGC(暫定)->AMP

用PC 操作選歌

asus essence one also ok but not suit you because you budget 10k. Should buy something close to 10k.

suggest ching do ab test yourself to decide. 耳聽為實.

BTW, Benchmark DAC2 HGC is very good! Go to try try.

my current set up is a router at one side of home with only 4 ports, branches out to a lan switch at other side of my home which connects to my pc, mtv, sbt, son's ps3 etc., in such case, if use nas, can it be connected to the lan switch as well. really afraid to use nas, price is higher than usb hdd, and may require additional set up of which i am not familiar with, and only turns on when playing music file, thus not fully utilising the nas. buying/using the sbt is my entry level cas attempt, no need to use pc as the fans inside are noisy....
