一隻 1972 release 的黑膠 concept album，
在 Afro Rock 基礎上 加入 極重 Space Rock 元素的作品 。
此 concept album 刻畫著一位非洲原始土著；
於深宵中仰望天際繁星，問天，反思自身存在的迷思。

Caravanserai 是 Carlos Santana 成長的重要轉捩點。
亦是 Carlos Santana went commercial 之前的一隻碟。
係呢隻 Caravanserai 之後，Santana Band 換哂人。

Caravanserai 收錄了 Santana Band 歷史上五隻最佳的 guitar solo 之一的
Song of The Wing (估下係邊個彈 lead 嘅)。

喜歡 Santana Band，及中意玩 Santana cover 的樂手唔會無呢隻碟。
是一隻 Santana fans 非常值得擁有的碟。

當時因人類已能登月。
老美 BAND 出現一股 太空音效熱潮。
背景空間感非常空洞，深遂。使人如處身太空中，
故老美樂評人名之為 Space Rock。
唔知係咪仿校名片 space odessy 的概念。
出名的 space roack band 有 journey，styx，david bowie 等等。

是否不是日版 ver？

日版有MIJ同MIU，大部份系MIJ，MIU个mastering同stamper刀系日本
正如我地中竟日版，架仔亦有中意正輸入，即系外版，多数系美版CD
就日版封面，日文amazon應为直輸入盘，英文就吾太知

It's interesting to note that Journey was formed by 2 members of Santana....Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie.  Early Journey albums are nothing like the music that would make them famous until today.

The best sounding version available now could be the hybrid SACD from Mobile Fidelity.  "Caravanserai" was released years ago on SACD available only in Japan....

Santana III 中有大半 guitar solo 是 Neal Schon 彈的。
那時他好似係 15/16 歲。
小弟比 較喜歡 係 Abraxas Pool-Waiting For You 中的 Neal Schon
