David Robert Jones (born 8 January 1947), known by his stage name David Bowie.
The reason for the stage name of David Bowie was that there was already a singer named Davy Jones, who was a member of the 60s band, The Monkees. You can see Davy Jones at the bottom of the CD case below. Davy Jones died earlier this year. It's interesting to note that Jimi Hendrix was the warm-up act for The Monkees at their concerts. [原諒我] from 鍾鎮濤's [情變] album was a cover of The Monkees' "I'm A Believer".
