剛剛試了 R700+R100+R200c
用marantz
係showroom。
看MI4

失望。慢。無力。
不知道有幾多原因係marantz，幾多係showroom太大

細緻度不錯，可能因為係大喇叭
包圍感一般，空間太大，根本試不到。
搞到好像買傢俱多於買音響。

這次其實係第三次失望。
第一次R300聽歌完全被LS50 KO左
第二次R500聽歌，高音有點破。
今次。。唉

Well, I am like you. Using Onkyo flagship amp and whole set of KEF speakers.
So I was a fan.

It's just disappointing tonight.
Have you tried the R series?

LS50 is quite good, I knew they won the award. I like that a lot as well.
But black speakers, once again, against house rule design policy.
If black is allowed, I have a lot more choices.

You know what, may be you are right.
R100 5.1 got a great review by what hifi as well.
I will call up the TST showrrom, get them using Onkyo Amp for me to test.

Just that I won't try R900+R300 combo, as I am not buying that. It's too big for my living room.
I am only considering R100/ R300/ R500 combos.

See what's going to happen

I was KEF fan too, KEF R series and Reference is my next forward, I hope to get my permit soon to change front speakers lately CNY, anyway I had been tried KEF R series & LS50 several times in KEF showroom CWB & TST, overall performance quite satisfactory.
Have you been there before, TST showroom is quite huge with Mini-Theatre facility, anyway you can try any series.
Are you going to have 5.1 or 7.1 surround setting? From your checkout list only have KEF R500 /R300/ R100, any subwoofer & center channel?

Yes, the center as well, didn't list that out.

For subwoofer, I have a velodyne SPL 1000 ultra.
I always feel subwoofer specific brands have better performances.
So I won't consider KEF for that.
