有網友買法版BD內有宣傳單張話四部曲將會出藍光套裝，並預計可能稍後秋季推出；今年係《異形》第一集誕生三十周年，又話盛傳會重拍新版本，相信霍士遲啲應該會公布其它地區版本的發行日期吧！！！

Alien將會有前傳(prequel)開拍，以下是IMDB前天的消息。

Scotts Revisit Alien With Hotshot Filmmaker
28 May 2009 12:15 PM, PDT

British moviemakers Ridley and Tony Scott are bringing Alien back to the big screen with the help of a visionary young video director, who works for their Scott Free Productions company.

Ridley Scott made the sci-fi classic, starring Sigourney Weaver, in 1979 and now he's teaming up with his brother to produce a reported "origins story", according to website Bloody-Disgusting.com.

Hotshot filmmaker Carl Rinsch will direct the movie, which will take place just before the original film.

另外今年不知道等不等的到福斯的另一部經典,回到未來三部曲
