    I remember the price for the combo set of the ha-a8 & th900 is $27k at the hifi show.

因我的組合是for Headphones的，而我覺得HP-A8的Headphone Amp Section is better than the Mytek's, Also, it can read the DSD files directly from SD card (省卻了CAS & USB CABLE) and 我覺得它出來的聲音是比較上自然和通透些( to my ears only). That's why I pick the HP-A8 instead of Mytek.   

But for Mytek, it has Balanced output and Accepting Clocking. Those are the advantages. (i think)

HP-A8既SD卡直接閱讀DSD係幾好玩(其實=DSD player), 不過一般人從那裡得到DSD原音檔呢?
最多都係SACD中取得(SACD仲要係DSD壓縮後既成品), 所以最後都係要用佢地做CAS部份既野, USB線輸入大多數要用上.
    以上係在下的個人觀點, 但求願者上釣也!

    100% agreed. For True DSD music files, I think it is still long time to become a common format. (Or may be disappeared later?? Hard to tell). There are still very limited Online Music Stores are available for purchase. In the future, if those online music stores could not maintain the profit or run out of business, then the future of DSD music files format would probably come to the END!

For myself, I do not have the Old version of PS3 to rip the SACD, I can only either purchase the DSD music files online Or use the Audiogate to convert the HD music files to DSF format to put on to the SD Cards for playing on the HP-8A. ( I know the quality of the converted DSF format can't be compared with the true DSD music but I have no other choices)

BTW, for the TH-900, do you find any other downsides/weakness? I'm actually quite interested in it.

100% agreed. For True DSD music files, I think it is still long time to become a common forma ...

    ...DSD未來是否會走到盡頭? 好難講, 在專業市場上DSD是母帶格式之一, 地位一般唔會變.
發燒市場上因為SACD成本高, 仲要有專用player, 使到制碟同器材公司回報時間加長, 宜家仲係投資期.
一般市場唔洗多講, 三個字(MP3).
DSD出路仲有好多出路, 最重要係重新包裝同降低成本.

    無法啦, 其他格式轉換DSD既方法唔多, DAC硬解係玩DSD最抵最方便, 其他玩法都比較貴.

    TH900...幾好但唔同HD800,LCD3,ED10等有個別既優點, 比較三頻平衡, 聲線細緻, 日式調音, 音場圓但不大,
定位感及分離度好好, 最喜歡係佢既音樂形體, 做到細節輪廓結合一起, 但都係講一句,好貴...!
