Hi ching, nothing compare to your setup ! An elevator with cover is quite good for protecting the PJ from dust and flying objects (toys from kids!) and to us better looking that a stick from the ceiling. Cheers.
no it shouldn't since the intake and exhaust vents are in the front and back, my PJ box is open on these sides, also whenever I finish a movie, I will leave the elevator down overnight, plenty of time for it to cool down.
by the way your X70 setup is also very nice, simple and clean and see no cable clutter, nice.
