Hi nick nick,

You are right!  There is no Naim gears that can make me addict to.  I can tell you that I listened the following gears in UK dealer namely:

CD555/555PS/555PS/552/552PS/500/500PS/500/500PS/500/500PS/362/SC/DBL with four blocks of Fraim with four levels of each block.

This is the highest level of Naim I ever heard.  So, I don't think CD555/555PS is not toxic enough.  CD555 is a very fine CDP but to explore its potential, you should need to add another PSUs and play them with crossover.  Once you heard the crossover of  Naim, you will understand what is the highest level of Naim.  Dual power supply of CD555 is very good but not an excellent gears unless it matches the crossover.  So, don't think any users that have CD555 with dual PSUs is any high level of users.  They don't understand or even don't taste what is highest level of Naim.  They are baby level.
