Still setting up at the moment.  
My last amp is Onkyo 501 (very old and basic model) so for sure the LX75 is much better.
I will write more after this weekend when I have more time to play with it.

I am no expert, just an end-user and here are my comments on LX75:

AMP used before:
1) Yamaha DSP-A3090 (over 12yrs)
2) Onkyo SR501 (over 6 yrs)
As you can see, both AV AMPs are very old so I have decided to upgrade to today's technology.

LX75 - Movies:
Very detailed, very crisp sound.  The dialog is very clear and the effects are very good.  I have tried several action movies and they all sound exceptionally. I can clearly hear the explosions or the rain drops or windows cracking etc... with great depth, just like in a movie theater.

The LX75 is much much better than the Onkyo 501 because the Onkyo lacked all the decoding features. (the Onkyo is also a basic model so it is not fair to compare).

LX75 - Music:
A little disappointed in the music section.  To me, the sound is above average.  Maybe I am used to the Yamaha's sound. BTW, the A3090 is a great AMP, very solid!

Overall, I am still very happy with this purchase.  The setup is a little harder than I thought as I still cannot get the HDMI passthru to work (ie MagicTV to TV, by-passing LX75 on standby).  This is no big deal as my TV has built-in tuner.

I also like the Airplay and iApp/Android App.  This feature makes it so easy to play music on the AV amp (for my wife).
