usb stands for universal serial bus, it actually has various applications depending on configuration.
The traditional usb-dac has the problems of dirty power and jitter(clock issue) and that not many manufacturers have resources to develop their own driver, so the sound could not be that good. It's far better nowadays.
The latest development of USB-i2s connection is different from AES based connection(spdif/xlr), I2S connects two devices directly and as far as digital audio/video is concerned, I2s transfers data and clock info more efficiently, just like the CD player. The bad thing though is the lack of universal standard on I2s, some use hdmi, some use cat 5, all with different configuration. PS audio did try to propose a standard on I2S/HDMI, but apparently not so widely used.

Latest development is DSD over usb, which means that we can play sacd files over usb port, all are under rapid development....

不過hiface 2係應該抵玩ga
其實價錢都唔係平好多，個aqvox小弟覺得賣得有點貴
teradak大陸野有類似product, 可以去淘寶睇睇ar
另外我玩SOtM+teradak外置牛ga經驗係好多野可以玩
無論換下電源線、搞下避振腳都好大反應
多野玩好多，性能提升潛力高好多
同埋可以換clock玩-->換clock應該又係不少ga提升ar (雖然我未試)
