But if you ask me to recommended just one version, I will definitely recommend the one conducted by René Jacobs. The casting is equally perfect but only younger, and also with a period orchestra playing. Jacobs basically cast his magic in the music, very energetic and engaging. One big step better than Solti's. His other Mozart opera recordings for Harmonia Mundi are all excellent, but his Figaro is always the best, by a considerable margin. Below is a video of him conducting the overture:
