Should we test using the sound meter mic. facing ceiling like what we did in the Audyssey setup mic?

I am not too sure.
but i did try facing towards front wall and ceiling just to compare the two and find the one matches my ears/ listening area.

係kwun tong"得x"都有間電子0件 shop賣sound meter..
最平$19x...用過都唔差.....

好似subwoofer的結果相差什遠.
AV Amp: centre:-6.5 subw:-12
Sound meter: centre:-8 subw:-7.5

the data of av amp auto setup include the EQ factors & some of the room measurements, so the result is diff from the sound meter...
IMHO, the adjustment according to the sound meter is more easy listening & neutral than the auto setup
