$399 is still a good price, isnt it? but i am not sure about the voltage issue with the sub, does it powered? or just need to connect to the AMP?

or at this price range, any good suggestion? i saw some harman kardon speaker package in this price range.

    he price itself is not bad. And for the sub's voltage, if it does not provide 110/220v switch button in the sub, u can still buy a voltage adapter easily.
But 2 things to note
1) shipping cost
2) this set comes with nanosat, not nanosat prestige. They are different model

The Prestige one doesn't have 5.1 system in amazon, they only have 5.0 for $399 or should i go for Mirage MX 5.1-Channel Miniature Home Theater Speaker System($449). I am not sure about the difference (are they big difference)as the discounted price are similar but their original listed price were high.

  i guess you may consider getting the nanosat prestige 5.0 set. and buy an entry level subwoffer in HK, as I believe the shipping cost would be quite high to ship the subwoofer back, and then u may need to pay another HK$200 to buy a voltage adapter.
also, both nanosat & MX are lower model than nanosat prestige.  anyway, the best bet is u
go to shops in HK to do some listening to
see which model of these three fits you better.
I have only tried out nanosat prestige vs OS3 but haven't tried the nanosat and MX, but for the build quality, it seems the prestige is much better & more solid then that of nanosat & MX that i have looked at.

I am living in Sydney now, it is so expensive to buy AV products here...we are selling AU$269 for one prestige here...all together will be more than $1200...thats is crazy..

Thanks for your advice and thats a very good suggestion to save my shipping cost.
Do you think the prestige set is good for music listening as well? and do you have any suggestion for amp? i am going to get Yamaha v471 as it is on sale now.

yea, if i order Mirage, i will get yamaha v471 from jbhifi for AU$369(amazon only $249 but it is too heavy to ship-9kg), and for speakers they wouldn't be that cheap...

at the moment i am thinking in between (budget and space orientated)
1. yamaha v471+mirage nanosat prestige 5.0(i know this is a better choice)
2. yamaha ysp-2200 sound bar (I just like the simplicity without any cable and it saves space)

sorry wang hing, i didn't know u reside in Sydney.
so the choices u are considering would be quite different from what I originally thought

as for the sound quality to use nanosat prestige for music, i don't have much listening experience on that as i tried them for movie only.
Some other ching here should be able to give comment on this.
