CPU降頻以改善音質?

今日得閒，出腦場買左隻SSD同8GB Ram俾部Macbook Pro...
速度快好多之餘，少左讀file時震的情況 (From HDD -> Cache)

再加上notepad+3釘腳係底，播歌時已經非常定...

忽發奇想，假如降頻(重點係可降voltage)令電流減少[降低干擾]+降低熱量會唔會令音質更好?

只用amarra + SSD播歌，用電量應該極少? (不過如果讀HD Format的歌，要等?)

以前玩電腦個陣，超完頻跑完分就會降頻做下文書工作，假如要打機先超返上去

唔知師兄們點睇?

聲音上一定有變化，但音質係變好定壞就真係唔知了。
一些電源處理也提供穩壓功能，以減小不定電壓對聲音影響。

將聲卡既延時已經較到好低大約1ms,
如果cpu speed降低可能爆聲,
以上是win行asio,mac行coreaudio唔知係咪一樣

If you are using PC, you may do it via BIOS or software

But you need some knowledge about the relationship among FSB/Ram/Frequency/Voltage in order to achieve it

The main reason to underclocking is to reduce voltage as much as possible (Lower the EMI?)

for example it's now running 3.36GHz@1.3v (240 x 14), you may start to decrease the voltage to see the pc is stable or not (test by some softwares like Prime), If you find 3.36GHz@1.28 still ok, you can still decrease the voltage level. However you may find your pc cannot boot (Black screen or Beep sound), it means the voltage level is too low, then you may start to lower the FSB(240->230=3.22GHz) or Multiple level(14x->13x=3.12GHz)

Moreover you need to have setting in RAM/FSB

With the same CPU, lower freq should require lower voltage. Because higher voltage and higher current is one of the ways to guarantee higher frequency.

You can try under-clocking if your computer supports that option. And let's report us your findings.
