  Not exactly, if a product only R&D base on minimum refernce such as stock cheapo cable, in the market they may lost due to low competibility, but due to commercial reasons, A brand may not want to promote for B brand, therfore why many brands always not really tell what reference system they are using.

i believe cdp does not need high power supply, but a good pc can help to insolate noise ... my experience is ... firstly background becomes more slient ... and later hear more details (when other equipment is also improved) ... and be honest, will never know until a better pc is used ...

我之前剩用740C時入amp， D聲薄到。。。。，之後換了條古河已經大有分別，聲底唔同哂，之後便深信電源條的重要性，現在經部DAC出，每次換線都有可聞的分別啊！
