all C-hing,
i am new in Hifi and now interest to buy my first speaker. i am mostly listening old english song, vocal, quitar, piano and some other mixed instruments. i know the Cremona M SE tower is one level up and more expensive however I could not figure out the major difference between these two tower. Or should i choose Cremona auditor M SE?
I tried the SF Liuto tower and Cremona auditor M SE. based on my novice ear as beginner, Cremona auditor M SE is quite good for music and enjoy the note. The sound is so sweet especially high tone as compared to SF Liuto. However Liuto is more complete in overall sound in term of value and as a tower.
furthermore, if i go for amp, should i go for a integrated amp like Mcintosh MA6600 or Goldmund 390d or other choice with better match? which one good match with SF speakre?
Sorry that i have so many questions.
Your kindly advice is appreciated. Many many thanks.
thanks c-hing's reply. i do not have the exact number but my new one would be 850 sq ft. so i guess my living room is about 300 sq ft (about 1/3 of the total size)
thanks c-hing's reply. i do not have the exact number but my new one would be 8 ...

If the distance between front & back wall have over 12 feet, I suggest to use the Cremona M SE tower. I don't prefer use too warm sound amp to match SF such as McIntosh, Accuphase.... U try the Brand B.M.C which is from Germany. I feel it is quite more neutral to match SF. http://www.bmc-audio.com/index.php/home.html
Moreover, if u have enought budget, suggest u to use pre & power amp to push the Cremona M.

I must choose Cremona auditor and if in my place 9x17 feet I must play Cremona M. If u have enought space, should play floorstanding speaker which provide better performance.
thanks for your advice. i better think deeply and consider to buy floorstand rather than bookshelves as i expect i have more space in my new home. actually i tried cremona auditor so cremona M SE must be awesome. the only concern is if i go for cremona M SE, i am afraid it would be a waste of the ability of this nice speaker by my limited knowledge in hifi area. also, it is about double in cost and believe need to buy a comparable good amp. now i understand why ppl said it is an unlimited investment but fun to develop such hobby. : )
for amp:
as i would like to use europe amp would you consider :
Goldmund 390d or 390.2
mbl7800
i check the forum only know these amps which might fit my budget under 2nd hand. many thanks
