用asio / wasapi 遠比direct sound 好~~

只係一張千幾蚊既usb sound card, 仲要錄音部份都佔左唔少成本, 都聽得出明顯分別~
之前用onboard 光纖出md deck 當dac, 都明顯聽得出wasapi / ks 同 direct sound 有分別~~
所以唔太同意樓上話普通野用direct sound 就夠~

應該USB input 就唔係俾你插電腦用....就算得，都只有48/16，問題係USB Input 果度可能做得未夠好。
一係買個好既純DAC
一係用番CD Player

Let me clarify. There are 2 sets of USB inputs - one at the back (Type B) and one at the front (Type A). For Type B, this is used solely for connecting PC.

I am still a newbie to CAS, but from my understanding good sounds does not just reflect in the figures. The Marantz is just 48/16 from PC, but sound much much better than DacMagic Plus with a 98 something.

    That's why we have to pay much in Hi FI =i
    But from studying the technology, we can know more truth on the sound.

    For Optical I/O, it is not better than coaxial since the Light/Electronic Converter is not good enough in Normal Hi Fi....(The Clocking Issue)
    Especially for the onboard sound card.
    So you cannot use this as a reference...

    You can try to connect normal PC Speaker to Analog out of onboard sound card directly or connect to a DAC (with USB / coaxial input)
    and output to speaker/headphone...
    If your PC environment is ok, you will find that there is no obvious difference.

    But of course, if you can use KS/ASIO, just use them.

For normal Hi-Fi use, I would say basically all on-board sound cards are crap, and should not be considered at all.

事實上係音量相同之下 就算ASIO4ALL都比DS有非常明顯既分別 主要原因唔係延遲 而係你都講左 迴避左windows remix
而低延遲同提高buffer固然對音色有影響 詳細可以自己試下

Actually, there are a lot of things to learn in CAS.

I will keep experimenting. But my PC knowledge is just so-so
