For sale is a TC Electronics BMC2, a dedicated DAC and high quality preamp / monitor control. TC Electronics is one of the main and highly regarded manufacturers of professional audio.

The BMC-2 can handle all main digital signal type and can be switched between three digital input sources – S/PDIF, AES3, TOS and ADAT, and confirm if those inputs are synchronous or not. It handles all digital signals from 16/44 to 24/96 and any combinations in between. It has analogue balanced out for direct connection to poweramp and powered monitors, and can also be used as a headphone amplifier.

It is an excellent and affordable DAC/Preamp solution for a simple or desktop audio system, and especially ideal if someone is looking for much better audio quality than what their AV amp can deliver. Compare to my Onkyo 906, it has way better bass definition and depth, much open soundstage and airier high and mid.

This item was recommended to me by one of the 6moons.com writers when I asked for a simple and affordable DAC/Preamp. It was purchased from the Hong Kong official agent in June 2011 so still has warranty left. I am the first owner and all invoice/box and accessories are included, condition like new.
