I'm the user of P amp + Quad. The performance is so far so good, suggest you to go to MK 'try try la'.

As a current user of pioneer lx83 and ex-user of Quad 11L, I agree that Quad speakers are good match for pioneer av amp.
Quad spk are 6 ohm and quite hungry for power. Pioneer D-class amp can provide sufficient power and control of the bass.
Quad are very good spk indeed.
Based on the sound characters of pioneer av amp, thick-sound spk should suit, not only UK spk.

Pioneer av amp match my Harbeth spk too.
