ching which model amp u are using lei?
i m using 2809...targeting PM8003/denon 1500AE
but i see the spec...both int amp each channel is less powerful than 2809
i m afraid that if i bypass the front to int amp...would downgrade the av performance
could ching share more on this?

Dear dougsof Hing,

I'm using Denon PMA-1500AE with Marantz SR-6003, when I buy the Denon 1500AE about two year ago, I did try PM8001 and 1500AE, for female voice, sure marantz is better, but I'm plan to use it's power amp part for movie, so, I select 1500AE since it's sound more powerful and clear.

Denon 1500AE using UHC-MOS, UHC means Ultra High Current MOS, so, it's pushing power for speaker is much higher than marantz. even the top model denon AV amp will not use this UHC-MOS, so, power output of Denon's AV amp can't be compare with it's Integrated amp even it's power were small, but the pushing power for speaker were totally different by using Integrated amp. After using the integrated amp, you will found significant improvent for both movie and music. but remember change the power cord of both amp since it will further improve the performance of both machines.

note that marantz PM-8003 are made in china but PMA-1500AE are made in japan.
