Oh, please read my post again. I did not say there is no sonic difference, in fact there can be a lot of differences!
But if two CDs are digitally identical, the sound quality will not be totally different, right?
And if using CAS and playing back from harddisk, the two different pressings will sound the same after ripped into the harddisk. Common sense, right?
If the ordinary pressing can be bought at $100 but the Made in Japan CD costs $3,000, I think the $100 CD is better value. Agreed? Of course, the Made in Japan CD will still have its value. My point is, no need to look down on the cheaper pressings!
By the way, there is a famous US engineer claiming that slow-burned high quality CD-R will even sound better than the best pressed CD. Isn't this exactly what TIS is doing?

So, my point is, the slow-burned high quality CD-R will sound closer to the original sound than those crazy price pressed CD made in Japan/West Germany without IFPI! Actually I tried it myself. I think my CD-R copies sound sharper more transparent. They're burned using Taiyo Yuden blanks with my Plextor Premium drive at 4x speed (lowest for the drive).

infact, if you looked what made artist hate pressing was alw sound so different and worst on pressing than the original CD-R
and many reviewers had the first hand CD-R copies for writing review, so what they reviewed were not the mass CD

Yes I believe some companies may already use Internet, but I think CD-R is still better and common. Also better have a PQ sheet. At least it's more solid and pre-planned! What if the uploaded files got mixed up??
