This is the most interesting part and sets this DAC apart from other DAC of its price point. Please please test and advise how it handles DSD files, like those download from 2L.I think one of the main reason why people are on the fence is exactly because they want to know how DSD files are handled.
Many thanks.

Yes indeed with analogue preamp function too! However for me the most important things are:1) how good it is as an overall DAC/Preamp and 2) how the DSD part actually work.
User in HIEND audio forum already tried using Korg's free player to play DSD file into the Mytek but it appears the Korg, even with Mytek's driver, converts DSD to PCM and the Mytek shows 192, that's not what we want I think. So it remains to be seen how the DSD part functions, and if 1 day DSD files can be easily ripped from SACD, then that would be musical heaven !

There is a player called HQ palyer that can output dsd stream. But it is a bit expensive.

Interesting, but noticed the "Native/direct playback of DSF/DSDIFF files" is still at beta stage, wonder how stable it is.
Price wise I think it is OK, certainly not as expensive as Amara on Mac, so the issue I think is with its proven quality.
