就係因為我部bdp 得一個hdmi output, 咁我會唔會影像就由bdp hdmi直出tv, 跟住聲就由bdp optical出amp,咁樣既setting好Ｄ呢？
定係都係正路Ｄ，聲畫都係bpd hdmi出amp呢？

一個hdmi 出曬就ok嫁喇 , 如果經bdp optical出你就享受唔倒真正HD AUDIO .

我會揀聲畫用hdmi去amp...跟著由amp hdmi 去tv...{:6_228:}
I think you should compare the result of 2 settings:
(1) BD Player set 720P>>>AMP set through>>>TV
(2) BD Player set 1080i>>>AMP set through>>>TV
I suspect (2) is better because (1) will have double scaling (1080p (BD disc) -> 720p (BD player) -> 768 lines in your TV).Although (2) is also require double scaling (1080p (BD disc) -> 1080i (BD player) -> 768 lines in your TV), the quality loss during the step of 1080p -> 1080i is much smaller (if the player does it correctly) than 1080p -> 720p.
My gear is similar to you.I'm using Samsung 37" LCD TV (also 1366 x 768).I had verified with many BD discs and confirmed (2) is much better in my setup.Try it.

one more question: is there anything else if my tv's resolution is only 1366 x 768, then if i set my bdp's to 1080i?
Not sure I understand your question.But your TV should be able to receive 1080i input; and do the scaling automatically and display in 768 lines.
小弟的cheap cheap gear 如下：
BDP: philips 3200
amp: onkyo 609
lcd tv: LG (1366 x 768)
現有小小問題 ...

前晚已試過將部bdp set做1080p / 1080i, amp set咗直過, 部電視兩種畫面都食到, 咁我係咪應該set做1080p呢？
