Actually, my CAS is located at bedroom only &I don't invest a lot of $$$$ onthe USB cable.{:5_89:}

It happen during I am playing music. Of course, the clicking sound will be very serious if I keep clicking some bottoms. However, even I am not clicking anything,there will be still some clicking sounds in the first few mins.....then after 1-2 songs, it won't happen again.
I am using acerbic t4200 notebook with win7. The windows is brand new with foobar and jriver installed only......

Sounds weird to me.
I am using an Asus notebook with win7 too, didnt change much of the settings, so perhaps ching's case should be some corruptions between softwares, might it be possible to switch off some start up windows programs?
My boss is using the notebook for internet tvb now, so i cant check the drivers used for my jriver, will update u this weekend.

用得 ASIO 又或者 WASAPI 目的都係想 by pass 晒 win 入面果 D 非專業 sound card drive 做成對音響輸出既影響姐。睇樓上 C-hing 情況就知到就算落左 ASIO 或者 WASAPI 都聽到 Click sound 就知到 ASIO / WASAPI 無完全 by pass 晒 windows 果 D 垃圾聲啦！ (亦即事用左 ASIO / WASAPI 都等如無用！)
去 windows sound driver 到 set 反 playback device 同 communication device 去返一般 analog output device (例如 speaker, headphone)。開 Foobar 同埋 J.River (如果你兩個 program 都有)，入到去 setting 選擇返 output 用 WASAPI (如果你部 DAC 有自己既 ASIO driver 就選用 ASIO)。之後你再重新開啟程式，以後由 Foobar / J.River playback 歌曲就再無 Windows sound driver 既影響架喇！唔信你可以試下用 Foobar / J.River play 緊歌既時候再 click 聽下有無 click click 聲。甚至乎你同時開 windows media player 播另一首歌聽下你完本聽緊果首歌有無影響就知到你個 ASIO / WASAPI 究竟有無完全 by pass 左 windows sound driver 既控制架喇！
ps. 重有一點，ASIO4ALL D 聲唔係好得，或者因為過兩個 3rd party driver 既原固。所以如果你部 DAC 無跟 ASIO driver 比你，我唔建議你使用 ASIO，因為要加入 ASIO4ALL 先可以讓部 DAC 正常出到聲。用返 WASAPI 反而會重好。
