以前玩汽車Hi-Fi時, 通常都係行8 ohms會細Power D, 不過就冇咁失真 (THD)
4/6 ohms 通常都係可以大D Power, 但失真就多好多~~
e.g. 如果個Amp用4 ohms speaker Power 有 100w, 用8 ohms Speaker 就會得番50W~ 雖然Power 少左, 不過失真就會低好多~

P.S. 唔知啱唔啱, 請指點~~

Good source of information there, chings should follow this advise.

The 4/6 ohm setting on most modern AV receivers are there for liability purposes and often delivers much less power to the speakers. Even if your speakers are 4/6 ohm, try them out with the 8 ohm setting first, only use 4/6 ohm setting when your amp goes into protection mode when driving your speakers.
