I'm in the US and the music companies here don't release LPCD, AMCD, SHM-CD or SHM-SACD, Blu-Spec CD, etc.
Audiophiles here in the US buy reissued vinyl records.For digital playback, there're 24K gold CDs from labels like Audio Fidelity (Steve Hoffman), Acoustic Sounds, and Mobile Fidelity (MoFi).MoFi is still releasing stereo hybrid SACDs and it's one of the last "famous" labels to continue releasing SACDs (the music is licensed from the big music companies like Warner Music, Sony Music, and Capitol Records).Being in the US, if we want to get "the good stuff", we'd import Japan Universal Music SHM-SACDs (at US$50.00 + shipping for each from Jp HMV or cdjapan.co.jp) or Japan Warner Music SACDs.
