Denon AVR 3800
If I want to purchase a set of KEF R meta, such as R3, 2 sets of R8 , R5and R6, will this AVR 3800 powerful to push all speakers? thanks 本帖最後由 samsontatsuya 於 2023-4-3 14:22 編輯What about Subwoofer?
If you set the low pass frequency right, you might be able to use these sets of KEF R to do a home AV setup, but you need very good subwoofers, maybe two subwoofers to make this setup work.
If you don’t have a two channel amp, I won’t suggest you choose floor standing speakers for front channel.
But in my understanding of AV receivers, you better to upgrade the AV receiver first before buying those expensive speakers.
In my experience, a top class receiver will always perform better even with satellite speakers. With entry level receiver, you won’t get much improvement even with top class speakers. Thank you... I am looking to purchase KF 92, and I brought the Denon 3800 already. This is the reasons, I didn'torder the Kef R series since they are not in Canada yet. KF92 is a good subwoofer for music, but for movie, there are many other brands better like SVS, M&K, JL. thank you
