I am also considering oppo 83 in light of the good comments from the web. Please excuse my ignorance and just for curiosity, can oppo 83 read vcd?
Obviously, VCD is no problem, so easy
If you plan to use Oppo as the CD player, highly recommend you to choose the SE version.The difference is hugh. It's one of my best investment so far.
May be I have to take it step by step. Upgrade plan later.
