If you have enough space and budget...it will be good to seperate AV and HiFi.

I am using another set of gears for my music only.

Thank you rklpoon and marvintai chings. I wish I have separate gears as you two highhands but currently I am just using Onyko 706 + XPA-5, no cd player but a blu-ray player LG 370. With an old 7 yrs floor standing speaker JM Lab 816, I have no imminent need to upgrade but just thinking of how to improve by fully develop existing gears. Whether a processor or a pre-amp would be better?

kan267 兄, USP-1 + XPA-5 用來聽歌滿意嗎? 聽說USP-1 bypass掣 要在著機時才可用, 唔似Onkyo 706 off機 default 已經係bypass, 師兄可以證實一下嗎?

無論細緻度及力水一定好過以前用876聽歌.係呀,USP-1要在著機時才可以用,它只是其中一個mode掣,聽歌時按CD掣,睇戲就按HT掣(即bypass掣).
