I think the root problem lies wth the attiude of the delivery guy.I often saw items (computer & AV stuff like Lcd & audio equipment "purposedly dropped down" from waist level by the delivery guy .

I am on the pre-order list of UMC-1 and the ETA is 19 April 2010. Hope the bugs will be fixed by then. Still wonder to buy the UMC-1 & XPA-5/UPA-7 or not.
I am also a owner of XPA-5 for 6 months.
This amp is working perfectly with very high c/p value.
After connected it with my S-150, the sound stage is wider and more dynamic/powerful.
