Not only same price
Int amp gives different sound that an AV Amp, the mechanism is different... actually they are 2 different types of machines...
to my ears, int amp sounds much much more natural and less "digital"

你是否 onkyo 705 > CA 640v2 > Quad 11L2 ? 如果係的話你用 705 去 640是否 640 要開到好大volume 至夾到聲ar ?
我係用 yamaha > 640 > kef,要去到3點位至差不多同 yamaha > kef 咁上下大聲...
可試係 auto setting 後, 再在前置加 dB 得唔得.

比較完一輪之後結果冇買到低階合併機, 雖然已有心水選擇但比起用緊部AV AMP 還要貴 {:6_125:} ,
所以暫時聽住AV AMP 同埋HEADPHONE 先, 等儲夠彈藥先至買
可試係 auto setting 後, 再在前置加 dB 得唔得.

That is strange, after i first owned MD10, I felt the voice is thicker than before.... so i used Ag plated power cord for MD10.
And after I have got my LX81, the sound is much thicker than using Onkyo 606.... Especially when I listen Mr Summer's songs... just like an old guy singing... slow and lower tone... hahaha

Should be fine then, I listened to LX82 before and the sound was quite "thin", haha.
Anyway, different cables, gears,speakers, environment, ... result in different sound :)

Yup, maybe mainly due to my B&W..... when watching movie, compared to LX72/82 event, LX81 did not give me any sharp noise when pairing up with B&W, but still can hear more details......... so im glad that my system can suppress the drawback.
Now the only problem is I want to listen gd music......
