呢個得唔得?? Another opinion: Use Cat. 6 lan cables instead of Cat. 5.
Cat. 6 cable has a '+' shaped plastics to separate 4 pairs of twisted wires into 4 quadrants.This helps reduce a lot of cross-talking and...

用埋Cat. 7更好. In my opinion, the product is good because it needs no power.But, if possible, I would like to take the ones that require power to operate as it will stabilize and enhance the signals over the lan cables in long length. {:6_182:}

If splits in 2 CAT5, each cable carry 750Mbps. HomePlug can not transmit such high rate data! 本帖最後由 hkbomberman 於 2009-11-16 17:02 編輯
Technically, it works as well.But your AV HDMI signals will go through from one socket, some other power points, main switch box, some other power points, to the final socket.In addition, the power cables supply power to many other electric appliances which generate a lot of noise / interference.Home plug connection may not support satisfactorily 1080p / DTS HD / True HD content.
It is not a good option to do so.Direct cable connection is much better in AV enjoyment.{:6_183:}
