Onkyo 807/Pioneer 52/Int Amp for B&W 6 series speakers
本帖最後由 mightyatoms 於 2009-11-9 19:24 編輯Which one is better?
Power output rating:
807: 135W at 8ohm 20Hz - 20kHz
52: 110W at 8ohm 20Hz - 20kHz
Int amp (e.g. 640a): 80W at 8ohm
Other than power output rating, any other figures I should look at? Other chings said Onkyo power output rating is not trustworthy....
So any av amp around $8-10K can push B&W 6 series well? 2nd hand 906 better 52 {:6_134:} 本帖最後由 claero 於 2009-11-10 13:21 編輯
i guess both can't push well ,the dynamic will be slow ,i never push 6 series myself but i push cdm series , if not enough power , the sound will become "mom" But what if I add an int amp?
I always doubt on the power output of int amp... it shows lower than other AV amps, but how come it is powerful enough to push the speakers then? 本帖最後由 claero 於 2009-11-10 13:31 編輯

yes but it really depends which int. amp , it can be big different nomatter they all said 100w in spec.
why not just add a 1xxxx power amp instead of stereo amp ? As you may notice my av amp is too cheap that there is no pre out...
I regret i didnt goto post 76 a year ago... wuwuwuw As you may notice my av amp is too cheap that there is no pre out...

don't set large for your speaker ,all set small , and let the woofer handle the bass so that the front can have better dynamic even power not that enough for now . i m not sure series 6 but pioneer 71 power part not bad My Onkyo amp can only set frequencies for the speakers but not "Large" or "Small"
After EQ auto setting, it recommends to have full band.....
