yes but if you think your floor is too hard, need to add carpet but try a thinner one first and see the effect.
there are some very thin and nice carpet (i brought from yuen long) - look like perisan pattern but not in wool or silk. they are polyester(look like silk).nice looking and cheap - few hundred a piece 4' x 5'. can machine washable. you can try try.
