其實加親風扇都會入塵, 不過有風扇可減低機器的溫度 (尤其是Olevia STB), 機器會冇咁易壞, 唯有得閒開蓋吸塵. 電腦也是一樣.

DC12V fan at HK$20@ is quite quiet.In my experience, I use two fans and I notice no sound when I turn on my TV with normal volume (without using my amplifier).{:6_142:}
For better silence, you may consider some good brands (e.g. Antec, Coolmaster, PC Cooler).12cm fan is quieter than 8cm.No need to buy high-speed fans.{:6_177:}

其實間屋有塵，你吹入同吹出一樣有塵
ventilation 既原理係制做空氣既正壓&負壓, 空氣由比較正壓既地方走去比較負壓既地方
如果你吸, 風扇制做負壓, 其他地方比較冷而相對高壓既空氣會湧埋黎降溫, 亦帶黎塵埃

我加0係我部amp到, 我就選擇吸. 吹就直接由風扇個風口吹晒d麈去d零件到.
吸就d會由其他機殼疏位引入冷空氣. 有大部份塵會積0係機殼到. 零件會少d塵.

I do think that a low voltage (5V) for 12V fan is not a good option to reduce noise.It runs slowly but less effectively. {:6_213:}
There are some brands and models which have ~1000 rpm.I prefer airflow to draw heated air away from equipment because it has overall cooling effect for the whole equipment with much less dusts accumulated.If you want more cooling effect, consider to use two or more fans.{:6_138:}

I've a 12 cm(inches?) coolmaster driven with 12V power supply. I opine that it is noisy. If it is driven with 5v, its speed is slower and it is silent. Dont know whether it is sufficent to pump the...

I am afraid the heat of my amplifier (Onkyo 906, very hot) may melt the sides of plastic fans if I forget to turn on the fans.
I mount 4 pc of 瓷筷子座 ($3 - $5@ in Jusco) to the corners of the fans to avoid direct contact with the amplifier.You can consider to use such stuff to avoid dee dee 震 too.
