i think better to listen by yourself, buy the one u like, instead of the one have higher resell value.

i never hear e30 , but i try klipsch , the mid sounds thin but fast ,i have 2 friends using whole set klipsch , they both told me its thin and not good for concert or cd ,they mean not pass on cd part .andi like thicker voice . you can take a look at nht , will give you enough punch for sure .

will you listen music ? or u are going to have another system for music ?
i think you better check the price first and listen to both and see which sound you like the most . but still if base on the same price ,i will go for 3 or 4 way speaker instead of2 way because i 've been up grade from 2 way to 3 way , and the different was obvious.

我以前用denon 1604 amp + jbl e30 ，聽歌人聲好暖同好厚，低音都打得幾勁，但依家換左onkyo sr707 後，感覺上對jbl e30 好似變左kef, mission 果d 喇叭咁，人聲薄，偏高音，無乜bass
對e30 當時起showroom 買，聽cd 真係幾正下，人聲暖和厚，把人聲好似起個喇叭中浮出黎咁，分析力又好，當睇電影時，非常有氣勢，唔通jbl 要配harmon amp 先好?

horn 喇叭的特性係efficiency 高，擴散力好，因為戲院地方大，用左horn 喇叭，可以保證坐得後一後的人，都可以聽得到應有的高音，但horn 喇叭係由大聲公演變出黎，所以聲底會幾metallic ，所以好多人都話點解戲院睇戲，會咁有大聲公feel ，所以聽歌都唔多會好
唔信的話你留意下，hifi的喇叭，好少用horn 喇叭的

thats onkyo style ..... i use 905 before and i have the similarproblem ,i have the bass but the mid was gone , but the high was good .i sold it at last .its hard to find amp that suit taste and speaker both.
