Cubox 今次出四個版本我覺得係愈走愈遠. 可能只係出個WIFI版便可. 重要的係要有軟件支持. 我想多DD RAM, 小DD RAM對大多用家來說是沒分別. CPU 一個定四個CORE都唔會有大分別, 因為這是ARM 雞U, 咁只會令open community 更難出軟件. 因為可能要支援四個硬件. 又可能分左四個group作同一個應用, 如MPD或會有因應四個版本有四個 linux image... 咁可以想像, 玩 open source D 人會去開發 cubox 定 Pi?

PI 可以LOAD MPD的, 你找一下, 網上應該有做好的IMAGE.

唔知佢係唔係銷量問題定(身痕)以為市場要咁多選擇. 如果係銷量問題, 佢好應該改善週邊野, 如
1. 物流: 運費貴, 需時長, 同PI真係無得比
2. 價格: 如果無比較, 1K 唔算貴, 但有了競爭價格是否要調整下?
3. 軟件: 好多時 open community 係話到你知個市埸要乜野, 會點用你件野, 佢有無聽?

Marketing strategy, multi-core is selling point but useless in single task work, such as MPD.
Low end one maybe enough for use but dunno 1G ram is enough or not.

ANYWAY, CUBOX is not targeting us for music reproduction.
都係靠自己摸搞定。又証明$不是万能。尋曰睇到台湾网介紹韓國部cocktail audio x30 ，刀要注意下。因為物刀有，懒人电脑盲恩物。不过我估刀吴会平得去边。

始終Pi 個 spec 比較weak, 又有 cubieboard 同其他 hardware vendor 出左d under 1k 野 (hardware spec better), cubox 唔出平 version 唔得了. 本想出個 hardware comparison table 比大家, 但太忙無心機整, 出個分享算...
Pi 唔會太多人用, spec 無得比, picoplayer 又唔 support DSD 又對 NAS 有要求... 等我 flash 下mpd image 再出report 可能大家會有興趣.
