they don't use LX 52 to make a comparison.Instead they use Denon 3800

Can any Ching have definitive answers below for the Oppo BDP-83
1) Are the US and China players the same?
2) Does China player have English menu - or just simplified Chinese?
3) Any Ching bought from Ouku.com, transferred money into their designated HSBC account and had player delivered safetly to their home? see below

1. yes, they are same.
2. they are working on a bi-lingal menu. so right now, it's chinese when u buy from ouku...

If it is true that the screen menu only displays simplified chinese, and it CANNOT be changed, that I will not buy it from ouku :(

In here, they said you can download firmware, but I am not sure if you downgrade from a chinese FW to English FW.Beside, they are working on a bilingual menu too!!

Please do let us know when you get your new player whether
i) it can display English in the menu straight from the box (Ouko.com)
ii) after firmware download, then English menu becomes available
