Hi all,
I just done my NAS, sold my DS213, detail as follow FYR:
MB: Intel Atom DN2800MT << Fanless, DC12-19V, that means you can use a notebook PSU without fan
RAM: 2G DDR (the MB supports 4G max)
Hard disk: WD Red 2T x 2 + WD Green 1.5T x 2
Fan: 12cm << 700rpm, checked in BIOS setup page
OS: Xpenlogy 4.2 << u know what it is la.
Power consumption: 40W (+/-5%) << measure in power plug, which includes loss in energy conversion
