AV AMP and Stereo AMP sharing same pair of speaker

Dear all,

Just purchased a NAD C326BEE Int. AMP (no AV Bypass input) with a hope to improve musicality of listening CD and LP. I understand that I can connect my Onkyo 806 through its pre-outs to input pf NAD, however, I would like to know whether the following connection is okay or not:

CD / Sources ----> NAD Int. AMP (through pre-outs) ---> Onkyo 806 (via multi-channel analogue inputs) ----> Front Speakers.

Thanks for any ideas in advance.

my suggestion is: add one more pair of spk cable to int. amp, then CD > int. amp > spk

I'm also struggling of using my stereo speaker as front channel or not!?

Any big brothers can share their experience of using existing 2 channel setup to build up the home theatre!?

Do you mean connecting the front speakers to both Onkyo 806 and NAD at the same time? {:1_342:}

NOproblem for no av by pass .....
cal your system at certain volume (say -20dB)
every time u watch movie, switch to the same volume ....
just a little bit troublesome .....but work .....

by the way ..is this an english only thread ??{:6_175:}

不是! i mean 可以的話準備多一對喇叭線for int. amp, then: CD > NAD > SPK
效果會比用2部amp (NAD + Onkyo)串聯為好！

I know the method suggested by you but just wonder my method works also........... I have a concern that my wife forget to adjust the volume on Int. AMP after listening to CD..................

2. For Entertainment:

BD / PS3 / XB360 / Wii / DVD --> Onkyo 806 --> 5.1 Speakers (including the front speakers)
