I am afraid that you cannot simply use a SACD as a transport, at least for the time being.Generally speaking, the DSD signal cannot be output through the SPDIF(or HDMI) output. You are at best getting the 16bit-44kHz (i.e. CD layer) signal from digital output the SACD player.
To take advantage of the DSD playback capability of your TEAC, you have to do so by feeding DSD files (usually in DFF format) through the computer via players like J River (in Windows) or Audirvana (in Mac OS).
