You are just using 60% of this DAC if you are not playing DSD files.In the PC world, you need J. River or Foobar to play DSD files as pointed out by other C-Hings.However, these two players are fairly complicated.
Since you have an iMac, you should consider using Audirvana Plus (Around US$80) as the player (with iTune as the music organizer).I am a happy user of Audirvana.The best thing is that you can download it and try it for free for 15 days before buying.

and do you know how to use sacd rip to dsd files or how to get dsd files ? is it possible to get dsd from cd?.{:8_387:}
Audirvana is very easy to use as it is basically a player only.The music file management aspects are left to iTune which is essentially the industry standard for organizing muisc files.Another advantage of using iTune is that you can take advantage of the free App called "Remote" to control the playback of the files.
Go to the webiste www.computeraudiophile.com and there are step by step instructions regarding DSD file ripping from SACD (but not CD).Go to 2L or search the internet and there are free (and legal) sample DSD files for downloading.

師兄I go to computer audiophile ,however I cannot find the topic taking about ripping dsd from sacd, can you show me which topic??{:8_387:}
